Autotags for music recommender systems

I found an interesting paper : "Automatic Generation of Social Tags for Music Recommendation"  that was presented at NIPS 2007.

This paper propose a method for predicting music social tags directly from music files. Using a set of boosted classifier, it map audio features onto social tags collected from Web. If there is a music DB with untagged or poorly tagged music files, this methods can make "autotags" for these music files and avoid the "cold-start problem" common in recommender system.
